Igloo increases ambient storage capacity by 150%

We have responded to customers’ demands for storage capacity by further investment in our warehousing facilities, including the extension of our storage racking for ambient products at our Watford depot.

This increased warehousing capacity will allow us to improve efficiency in terms of picking and will benefit our customers with faster order turnaround times and improved stock management, further strengthening our service provision particularly in the area of palletised stock.

Our investment in ambient storage is part of a strategic review that we are undertaking to ensure that our warehouses are run efficiently. The strategic review will also look at the capacity and provision of frozen storage, an area that we are continuing to expand in.
