When ASDA commissioned Cambridge Market Research to organise a consumer taste testing of top brands in various locations around the UK, a temperature controlled delivery service was needed to provide an effective supply chain solution.
Cambridge Market Research needed a company that could collect samples from approximately 10 suppliers per tasting panel, and deliver the stock nationwide to locations ranging from the South West of England to Scotland. At its peak, there would be five separate testing panels a day, five days a week.

In addition to collecting a high volume of samples from a variety of locations and delivering them all over the UK, the deliveries were very time sensitive – with testing panels occurring at specific times. There was no room for error.
Everything had to be perfect. This extended to the condition of the products being delivered. The packaging also had to be unspoilt – so that the testing panel could assess the overall attributes of the products.
We provided a data support service by processing orders from ASDA into collection and delivery consignments.
